Orff Ensemble: Ages 8-11

This is an exciting and rewarding group experience based on the Orff approach. Each ensemble member will learn and participate in singing, playing recorder, xylophones & other percussion, exploring movement and drama and creating and performing challenging music. This is an excellent opportunity to try a holistic approach to music, develop confidence, gain skills in reading and improvisation, and nurture creativity in a supportive setting.

Previous experience in music or an Orff ensemble is not required. Summer classes will be offered if there is sufficient interest. Classes are limited to between 10 and 15 students.

Orff classes are also available on a flexible private basis for home-schooling families looking to add to their music curriculum. Please contact me for details.
